West Coast Network Services undertakes Utility Arboricultural work for a number of Distribution Network Operators (DNOs). With teams operating in England, Wales and Scotland, we provide arboricultural services for a diverse array of organisations across the UK.
All of our team hold recognised Utility Arboricultural (UA) qualifications and are encouraged to continually improve their skills and knowledge. We provide staff with tailored training, mentoring and external one-to-one coaching to meet their unique development needs.
We are proud to uphold industry-leading health and safety standards whilst completing many thousands of kilometres of safety clearance, resilience and line preparation work every year. In order to deliver these programmes safely and on time our specialised planning team carefully project plan each circuit, ensuring the deployment of an experienced and authorised direct and subcontracted workforce.
To ensure work is completed to our clients' stringent quality standards, all staff must hold a bespoke WCNS authorisation certificate, which augments that of the DNO. We closely monitor adherence through our compliance database.
Our operational staff are competent in a wide range of tasks and are qualified up to Certificate Standards, ensuring all works are carried out to BS3998 Recommendations for Tree Work (1989).
