West Coast Network Services had donated old work clothes to
Oxfam following a rebranding exercise.
Office Manager, Sarah Smith said, 'We needed to replace our work
wear to reflect the new logo. The clothing with the old
branding was in great condition, so we didn't want it to go to
waste. Our office in Mold is close to the Oxfam shop so we
contacted them to see if they could make use of them and they were
happy to receive the donation.'
The Company recently moved into its new home, a purpose built,
and environmentally sustainable headquarters in Mold having
outgrown its previously rented office in the town. The new
move prompted a whole new image to better reflect the innovative
and forward-thinking practices of the Company. This led to
the creation of the new logo, which had to be reflected in the
clothing of staff in the field.
Rocsand Bateman from the Oxfam shop in Mold said, 'We are
delighted to have received the generous work clothes donation from
West Coast Network Services. Oxfam will send these to Africa
to help impoverished people in setting up their own businesses.
Other uses of donated work clothes by Oxfam include pulping
the material so that it can be reused in sound proofing in cars,
for example. We are one of the only charities providing this
type of scheme and would encourage other business to follow West
Coast Network Services' example and bring in any disused work
wear.'
